Privacy Policy

FormTwin (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal fitness and body-tracking app. We built it to keep your data yours. This policy explains what the app stores, where it lives, and what we do (and don’t do) with it.

The short version

• We do not have a server that collects your data.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
• Your data stays on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account — which we cannot access.

What the app stores

All of the following is created by you and kept on your device (and synced to your private iCloud if you turn on iCloud sync):

• Health & fitness data — workouts, sets, weights, body metrics (weight, body-fat, BMI), and muscle-recovery information.
• Apple Health data — if you grant permission, the app reads metrics such as steps, active energy, heart rate, sleep, VO₂ max, and weight to show them in the app, and may write your workouts and body stats back to Apple Health. This is used only to display and track your progress inside the app. It is never used for advertising and never shared.
• Progress & reading photos — any photos you add are stored on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud. They are never uploaded to us.
• Nutrition logs — food and barcode entries you create.

Camera and photos

• The camera is used only to scan food barcodes and, optionally, to capture progress photos.
• Food photo recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device Vision framework — your meal photos are never uploaded.
• The photo library is accessed only when you choose to add a photo.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

We access Apple Health only with your explicit permission and only for the features described above. We never use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, and we never sell or share it. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit) container, governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. We cannot read the contents of your private iCloud data.

Subscriptions

FormTwin Pro is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase, sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment, billing, and renewal are handled entirely by Apple under your Apple ID; we do not receive your payment details.

Data we do not collect

We do not operate analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not build profiles about you or track you across apps or websites.

Deleting your data

Your data lives on your device. Deleting the app removes the on-device data. To remove iCloud-synced data, delete it from within the app or from your iCloud settings. Apple Health data is managed in the Health app.

Children

FormTwin is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address.
